While the rest of the industry plays hide-and-seek with their development, orchestrating perfect reveals and keeping riders in the dark until the big unveiling, we've thrown the garage doors open. We've invited you—our riders and enthusiasts—into the raw, unfiltered reality of bringing the Super Cruiser to life.

There's no comparison. Many cruisers use orifice-based damping, which is a velocity-based system and doesn’t provide much more in the way of benefits. Fox's suspension system has an inverted fork with a cartridge setup, and its one-by-one design is the latest and greatest in sport bikes. The valving structure and design in these forks and shock are impressive, and in terms of low-speed versus high-speed damping, they gave me exactly what I asked for.
The year is almost complete, and more riders are getting to know the Super Cruiser as we continue toward a fall debut in 2025!
"I love that this bike is super lightweight because it makes one-footing it super easy.
“I'm 125 lbs - about 5'2" - and I am not flat-footed on this bike… but I don't find that an issue because it is so light."
“I love V-twins… the only reason why I got into Buell is because they were one of the few sport bikes that ran a big, aggressive V-twin. I grew up with Harleys, with that American image of a motorcycle… but I was also young and liked to go fast. Buell’s bikes are real fast.”
Looking at a Hammerhead and wondering how much you’ll have to put into it to take the thing to the track? We’ve pulled our Engineer Specialist, Jacob Stark, out of Headquarters to ask him about prepping a Hammerhead for Track Day.
Most of us are still chasing that feeling of freedom, that rush of adrenaline that comes with pushing the limits. In a world where everybody tries to fit in, motorcycles have been bred to disrupt, converting even the most modest of mortals into a veritable mecca of kinesthetic intelligence. We don’t do well blending in, nor, I think, should we ever. All of the above is exactly why we believe in the analog experience.

It’s 5am, the boys arrive in Birmingham. We head to the track to meet up with Jesse, get some coffee, assess the situation and get to work by 6:30am, race at Noon. Though the job is not difficult we were operating with minimal tools, swapping race prepped parts between engines, discussing/coordinating settings with Hayden’s crew chief, unknown environment and little sleep under the pressure made for an exciting morning!
Buell is constantly working on improving the current products. Some items take a lot of time and resources, and we always look for new or potential items to work on. Part of this journey is a strong push for backward compatibility; in other words, as we progress from old to new technologies, owners of EBR products can update with us.
