Jacob Stark, Lead of Buell Advance Designs And Strategic Solutions, is currently pioneering new engineering solutions in the pursuit of a turbo-charged Buell Super Cruiser for Land Speed Racing. Building on a long-standing collaboration with Jesse Brown (JB-Tech Racing), both Jacob and Jesse have been focused on the goal of exceeding 250 miles per hour at Speed Week in Utah this August. Jesse himself holds 13 land speed records on a Turbo Buell XB racebike specifically tuned for the demanding, ethereal conditions of the Bonneville Salt Flats. Together, Jacob and Jesse plan to push the 1190 platform into uncharted territory, cementing Buell’s legacy as a dominant force in world-class speed trials.

Where Project Leviathan chases raw top speed, Buell's Hill Climb Racing is a fight against gravity, grip, and the clock, one vertical mile at a time. At the controls is professional racer Logan Cipala, piloting the Buell 1190HCR, a purpose-built machine engineered from the ground up to convert the 1190 platform's power into control on some of the steepest, most unforgiving terrain in motorsport. Hill climb racing demands a different kind of precision than the salt flats or the drag strip: relentless traction management, instant throttle response, and a chassis capable of holding its line through switchbacks and elevation changes that would break lesser machines. On the other end of the racing spectrum, Buell has a roster of NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle racers, all campaigning on Buells in one of drag racing's most technically demanding classes. Pro Stock Motorcycle is a discipline of thousandths of a second, where every gear ratio, launch, and aerodynamic detail is refined in pursuit of a perfect quarter-mile run. Buell's riders bring that same obsession with performance to the strip, running against the deepest fields in professional drag racing. These riders deliver at the top level of straight-line acceleration, extending Buell's presence across nearly every corner of American motorsport.
